Meet The Team
Meet the brains behind the thoughts.
Hello, I'm Callie Wade, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Callie's Tea Talk. I graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. My professional aspirations include becoming a family lawyer and engaging in diplomatic work to address domestic violence and child homelessness issues.
At Callie's Tea Talk, I share my thoughts and opinions on television shows and films, while creating a space for meaningful audience engagement. My passion for visual storytelling developed during my college years, where I fell in love with series like Law & Order: SVU, the Scream franchise, Bridgerton, Never Have I Ever, and many others.
Now that I have the opportunity to share my perspectives on shows and movies, I hope you'll join the conversation and contribute your own insights. Let's build a community of entertainment enthusiasts together!
Hi, I’m Maggie! I am 25 years old and currently the blog editor for Callie’s Tea Talk. I have always loved storytelling in all forms, whether it's through the written word or on screen. That is why I spend a lot of my free time diving into movies and TV shows–from timeless classics to the latest binge-worthy series.
When I’m not writing or watching something new, you can usually find me hanging out with friends, going to concerts, or working toward my degree–I’m currently in school training to become a middle school teacher.
Here on the blog, I’m thrilled to share my thoughts, reviews, and hot takes with all of you. Whether you are looking for your next favorite show or just want to hear a fresh perspective, I’m excited to be part of the conversation.
Hi, I’m Kiyara Wade, and I recently stepped into the role of Social Media Editor for My Sister’s Blog. The blog focuses on reviewing movies and TV shows — everything from the latest releases to older favorites — and I’m really glad to be part of it.
A bit about me: I graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in Strategic and Organizational Communication, a minor in Marketing, and certifications in Social Media and Women’s Studies. I’ve always enjoyed working on creative projects, especially ones that involve storytelling and connecting with others, so this role felt like a natural fit.
My main job here is to manage our social media presence — sharing new reviews, engaging with our audience, and helping the blog grow its online community. I’m excited to support my sister’s voice and help bring more attention to the content she’s creating.
Looking forward to sharing more with you as we go.
